Guest Blogger and colleague Dean Orbell writes about his amazing dining experience at Flora Farm in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico:

We drove through the dessert until we came across a beautiful oasis called FLORA’S FIELD KITCHEN housed within FLORA FARM. I was not sure what to expect as we made a dinner reservation after raves from friends but to my surprise we discovered a fantastic setting to have a family dinner. It was truly relaxing and enjoyable to eat at a working farm.

Flora Farm is a working farm on 10 acres which is all hand farmed. The restaurant uses all the organic sustainable products that the farm produces.

The vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits are all picked fresh daily. The bread is baked each morning in the wood burning oven. Further, they grow, butcher and cure all their own meats.

For those who are looking for a bit of retail therapy after dining they offer a selection of crafts from local artisans. My family & I were taken aback by the sheer beauty of the scenery, the innovative food preparation and the total freshness of all the items we consumed.
