With the advent of online shopping taking over traditional retail emporiums, retail must rethink what it sells, presents and offers to clients. The retail environment needs to become a destination instead of just shopping otherwise the consumer will just not be satisfied with the same old ways.

Opened in 2001 by Barbara Narj Husted Werner, Holly Golightly in Copenhagen has created a retail environment that encompasses fashion, jewelry, accessories and art. All the items sold at Holy Golightly are picked by Barbara and her team which includes a fix of high fashion, vintage and art by local and international artists. It is a space to gather, look, reflect and shop.
