Maya Bay is a lovely Asian restaurant in Monte Carlo under the helm of chef Christophe Dupuy serving Thai and Japanese food. Located on Avenue Princess Grace, Maya Bay is on a lovely stretch near the water.

I am enamored with the terrace which reminds me of being in Thailand with the large Buddha sculpture, the exotic foliage and the hanging lanterns with crystals. The design of the restaurant is very soothing providing the perfect ambiance for a deliciously crafted dinner. The inside décor is just as beautiful as the terrace.

The menu pays homage to Thailand with an assortment of dumplings, satay chicken, pad king, phad thai and spring rolls to just name a few choices. Then there is the nod to Japan with an assortment of sushi, sashimi and tempura to name a few. There are many items to choose from for anyone that adores Asian food like I do!

The food is deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. The spices are just right, and the flavor is spot on and all is freshly prepared. Maya Bay is away from the touristy area so it is a relaxing dining venue right near the water. Perfect for dinner or lunch were they have prix fixe special. Maya Bay transports me to Asia with the stunning indoor and outdoor decor and the wonderfully crafted fresh food.
