Farmers Walk Exercise- My go to stay fit!

Exercise for me is not about just losing weight but to stay healthy and strong! I have found that if I don’t incorporate exercise into my life I become sluggish, restless and not in the best mode. For me it is the best way to deal with life’s stresses and hormonal changes. I feel at times I have no choice but to exercise.

Further, as I grow older I want to make sure I can ward off illness by being strong and fit. It’s not easy because we have work, family and trying to find time to exercise can be difficult. I know that I always place everyone else first but when it comes to my health I need to make the time to place myself first.

I started the Farmers Walk Exercise because it activates nearly every muscle group in my body and gives me a complete workout. It is simple exercise, but it works.

You can use dumbbells, kettlebells or a Barbell in your hands. I rub some chalk on my hands, pick up the weights carefully walk across the room and back. Rest for 30 seconds and repeat. I try to do 3-4 sets.

I feel energized and stronger which helps my back issues once I complete my set. I feel simplicity is at times the best form of exercise. The Farmers Walk helps strengthen my entire boy and makes me feel so much better!
