Sitting on the terrace at Le Vistamar when the weather permits is a joyous occasion. The setting overlooking the Monaco Harbor and old Monaco is breathtaking.
Not only is the setting mesmerizing but Chef Benoit Wiltz’s cuisine is fresh, sustainable and totally Mediterranean. Chef Witz uses local vendors for his seasonal dishes and you can taste the freshness in the flavors.
I went for a business lunch where I had the pre fixe lunch menu which included a starter, main dish and a libation. There is the complete dinner menu and a brunch menu. Whether you sit in the terrace or in the modern light filled indoor main dining room you will not be disappointed.
The Mediterranean seasonal fish is cooked over an open fire infused with the flavors of the region and utterly delicious. The vegetables are locally sourced and are so tasty that they melt in your mouth. The presentation is beautiful especially when it comes to desserts. These are not contrived just a gorgeous presentation.
I find Le Vitsamar to be perfect for a business lunch because the atmosphere is so calming and tranquil that it can diffuse the tensest discussions. Further, perfect for that dinner that is a very special occasion. The lunch prefix is reasonable but the dinner can be expensive so I suggest going for lunch and relishing the ambience and Chef Wiltz’s master culinary creations!
