When I travel, I love to explore and find local venues to dine. I find it important to support local establishments which I feel serve freshly prepared locally sourced food and offer more consistent service.

While on the Jersey shore for an event we headed for a late breakfast to the Little Goat Diner because we did not want hotel food. A cute locally owned diner with fantastic food. It is open from 8:00am until 2:00pm daily.

We started with fresh brewed coffee then we ordered an assortment of omelettes. We ordered the daily special which was a local crab, avocado and cheese, a Greek with spinach, feta & tomatoes and two fried eggs with turkey bacon and hash browns. The omelette’s come with hash browns or grits with toast or a bagel for a small additional charge.
Each item we ordered was delicious & fresh so we decided to order the pancakes topped with fresh local blueberries & strawberries. The service is extremely friendly.

On the way out we noticed a tray of house made brownies which we had to purchase to have later in the day. Once we tried them, we had to go back to get more!
