As COO of Travel Document Systems, I make it my priority to keep all visa information on our website accurate and up to date. We track requirements for every country in real time, so travelers can be confident there won’t be any surprises when applying for a visa.

China has recently overhauled its visa process, and it’s important to note that Chinese visas are jurisdictional. At TDS, we handle applications through our five U.S. offices, depending on where the applicant lives.

Here’s how it works: travelers must create a login on the Chinese visa application site and upload all the required documents. Once the application is reviewed, the site will let them know if they can proceed or if additional documents are needed. Everything is managed through the applicant’s dashboard.

Once approved, the dashboard will display a barcode. Travelers simply screenshot, print it and send it to TDS along with their passport. Finally, they complete a TDS online order form to submit payment and track the status of their application.

Navigating visa requirements can feel overwhelming, but staying organized and following these steps makes the process smooth and stress-free—so you can focus on your upcoming adventure!
