GINGER is a restaurant that I would more likely find in Los Angeles than Rome and that is why I adore eating there. Ginger is housed in an airy and bright building with tall ceilings and large glass windows on Via Borgognona in Rome. With another location in the city.

It is all about healthy, organic, fresh and sustainable food. They source all the foods from local farms and suppliers and the quality and freshness is paramount to them.

There is a large assortment of fresh juices, shakes, smoothies and fruit bowls made to order. The large fruit plate si only only a beautiful display of fresh fruit but I have only been for lunch and the menu is varied with freshly made pastas, sandwiches and salads. Further, the salads which are plentiful are filled with seeds, avocados and protein.

Being in Rome there is a delightful selection of house wines and sparkling wines. The ambience is great and so airy that one feels happy and the delicious food just make it a perfect spot for lunch. The Via Borgognona’s location is perfect for lunch as it is in the midst of some of the best retail therapy on the globe.

Rome is usually traditional in my opinion when it comes to food GINGER takes it to another level of originality and freshness when it comes to healthy food.

The fresh squeezed pomegranate juice is my Absolute favorite! For Salads the pistachio and salmon is fantastic and the flavors so original.
