I had to attend a memorial service in New York City so I decided to relief the tense atmosphere by having lunch with my Mother and a close client at the BG restaurant at Bergdorf Goodman (https://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/). It is located on the seventh floor with sweeping views of Central park designed by renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler.

The space is very inviting with a blue/grey palate, stunning Chinoiserie wallpaper and custom light fixtures & furniture. The views of Central Park are so calming and the food is fantastic. We all enjoyed salads from the Gotham chopped salad, to the endive & chicken and beet. The food is delicious though a tad expensive but you are paying for the location and the view.

In the afternoons, high tea is served with or without champagne. A lovely selection of tea sandwiches, pastries and scones are served with the tea selection of your choice. The BG restaurant is the perfect place to savor the magic of New York.
