In my corporate life, my wardrobe is often defined by structure, polish, and practicality. Yet there is another side of fashion that continually draws me in—the whimsical, the romantic, and the sublime.

Since Jonathan Anderson was appointed Creative Director of Dior in June 2025, he has brought a fresh perspective to the house, one that feels deeply rooted in its history while embracing a more playful and unexpected sensibility. His appreciation for Dior’s extraordinary archives is evident, yet the collections never feel confined by the past. Instead, heritage becomes a starting point for something entirely new.

I find myself especially captivated by the details: the exquisite embellishment of the bags, the feminine construction of the clothing, and the clever, almost mischievous nuances woven into the footwear.

The shoes, in particular, have captured my imagination. I adore the green clover slides, punctuated by a tiny red ladybug and elevated by a sculptural mirrored stacked heel. They are playful without being frivolous, unexpected without losing their elegance—and, quite simply, they make me smile.

That is the magic of a truly memorable shoe. The simplest black dress, or even a favorite pair of jeans, can take on an entirely different character with the right pair of shoes. In a fashion landscape where so many collections can begin to feel familiar, Anderson has brought back a sense of discovery.

Dior feels interesting again. There is something wonderfully inviting about browsing the collection, noticing the details, imagining how a piece might fit into one’s own wardrobe—and perhaps deciding that one extraordinary piece is worth bringing home.
