I am always on the look out for a restaurant with a great ambience where I can take business clients for lunch; the dining venue must have great food, fantastic service and outdoor seating when weather permits.

Brasserie Beck by Robert Wiedmaier is a gem of a find! The restaurant is located right on K Street with an expansive terrace that conveys a true Brasserie feel as does the stunning bar inside. Further, the food is Scrumptious. Whether trying the noted mussels and frites, the steaks, charcutrie or main course salads you will not be disappointed. I have an obsession with fries so their hand cut frites are truly worth the calories!

Brasserie Beck has one of the most comprehensive Belgian beer lists and a full section of wines and champagnes. Every successful restaurant I have been too on my travels is run by a successful general manager. I have known the general manager of Brasserie Beck Adam Rigaa for years. He is a master sommelier and has such a gracious personality, always going out of his way to make my guests and myself feel comfortable.

Pastry chef Chris Kujala makes the most amazing creations. The apple flan is out of this world. For all chocolate lovers, I highly recommend the chocolate gateau with a dark chocolate coating, a rich mousse filling and a crunchy chocolate crust topped off with homemade ice cream.
