January is my Birthday month, so I am truly so fortunate that my friends and family take the time to celebrate with me all over the globe depending on where I might be at a given moment!
My dear friend Elizabeth Duggal is so much more to me than a friend, she is my soul sister! Elizabeth organized a belated Birthday dinner for me at Brothers and Sisters, one of the new dining venues at the new Line Hotel in Washington, DC. A former church beautifully renovated and restored into a hotel in the eclectic Adams Morgan neighborhood.

The massive lobby area is fun, hip and had great food to share. We sat at the corner of a communal table and enjoyed the grandeur of the room, and the food and drinks.

The menu starts from back to front and consists of small plates, large plates, items to share and scrumptious desserts. The bar is fully stocked with a bartender that creates decadent libations.

Whether you sit on a couch, a communal table or a traditional table you can enjoy the festivities as I felt I was apart of a play with multiple servers moving about a “LIVE” radio show and various bars in the open and grand space.

We had an assortment of food starting with French fries, brussel sprouts, tuna, roast chicken and caesar salad. To top off our meal we tried the pistachio cake which was rich in favor and taste.

Brothers and Sisters is a fun edition to the DC dining scene, but the best part was spending quality time with my friend Elizabeth and sharing some new experiences and memories! To me life is about the experiences I share with the ones I love.
