Puerto Santo is an experience on the bay in Mexico. A casual place to gather with family and friends to sip a fresh tamarind margarita, have house made fresh catch ceviche and savor the sun setting over the bay.

Mr. Santo started Puerto Santo to provide a venue for gathering, celebrating, and just relaxing. The four-story open-air structure makes one feel like one is floating over the water. Serving the best fresh catch from local fisherman that I have had anywhere in the world. The fresh fish is brought to the table, and you select which type of fish you want prepared either grilled, baked, fried or any way one prefers. With a bevy of sauces such as butter & garlic to please any palate.

This sea to table restaurant is so organic and natural. In complete harmony with nature. The fish and shrimp tacos beer battered or grilled served on house made blue corn tortillas are wonderful with a tasty slaw. Puerto Santo offers an extensive menu of all types of seafood. Besides the whole fish the fish fillets are a smaller portion fresh and caught daily perfect for one. Then there are the fresh poured margaritas with the freshest ingredients and flavors such as passion fruit. The margaritas seal the experience sitting over the water.

No meal is complete until desert arrives. The decadent flan and the fruit ice creams frozen in their shells are mouthwatering. The fresh made orange & pineapple ice creams are my favorite. So, refreshing and light.

Besides the delicious fresh made seafood and spellbinding view what makes Puerto Santo so special is the hospitality and kindness of everyone that assisted us in making our visit so special.
